COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Central Ohio Chapter of Muskies, Inc. will host its annual youth fishing event on Thursday, July 15th from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Whetstone Park in Columbus. Approximately 100 youths, who are participants in Columbus Recreation and Parks summer programs, are expected to attend this event.

Anglers will also be given the opportunity to provide general comments about fishing in Ohio.

The five-member citizen advisory council, appointed by the Governor, provides input on boating issues to the Division of Watercraft. Council members will be briefed by the Division of Watercraft on the status of ongoing projects and issues impacting recreational boating in Ohio.
