The Colorado Division of Wildlife will hold a series of hunting seminars in southeastern Colorado to help big game hunters prepare for the 2010 seasons.
Hunters are invited to attend sessions in Cheyenne Wells, La Junta, Lamar, Limon, Colorado Springs, Simla, Ellicott, Kiowa, Pueblo, Canon City, Buena Vista, and Salida.

On Saturday, January 30, the 18-point non-typical (non-symmetrical antlered) deer, taken by Brian Stephens on November 30, 2009 with a muzzleloader in Highland County, was officially scored.

The controlled hunts took place Nov. 16 – 17 and Nov. 30 – Dec. 1 at Chain O’Lakes, Charlestown, Harmonie, Lincoln, Ouabache, Pokagon, Potato Creek, Prophetstown, Shades, Shakamak, Spring Mill, Tippecanoe River, Turkey Run, Versailles, Whitewater Memorial, Fort Harrison, and Clifty Falls.
